🌱 Big News and Needs

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
 because he has anointed me

to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”

Dear Friends!

We have some great news, needs, and opportunities to share today. But first, an invitation to recognize all Jesus Christ is doing right before our eyes.

He calls people into life and life more abundant. We marvel at His greatness in the big stories He is telling through Rahab House, but also, we take joy from the small stories He is telling in each of us.

Deeper and realer devotion comes when we look upon our King, so marvel at what He is doing for and through Rahab House, but never forget, He lets us see His blessing in others so we may dare hold our hands and hearts out to Him for yet more Grace in our own lives.

Praise God, who never tires, never compromises His glory, and never abandons us.

Construction has Begun!

Through His people's obedience and sacrificial love, the LORD has bought Rahab House a House!

Some dear friends and skilled contractors have begun the remodeling needed to begin welcoming women, which is still on schedule for later this year.

The construction team is trusted and competent, but volunteers are wanted and welcome.

If you are handy with a hammer, saw, or broom, reply to this email, and we will add you to the renovation opportunities.

We’ve Hired Our Fist Staff Member!

As of March 1, we have brought on a part-time Rescue Support Team Lead. This person will make and care for first contact with women ready to exit trafficking, connect them to vetted resources, and address material needs along the way.

This work is only possible because of donors, and while the safety of each woman we serve prevents us from sharing too many details, we want you to know your giving and prayers are already meeting needs, lifting women out of homelessness and captivity, and bringing hearts to the table of Jesus Christ through Sunday and mid-week gatherings with local churches.

Pray Christ would be glorified by the work of her hands, the humility of her heart, and the commitment of her mind.

Recurring Donors Needed

We are blessed beyond reason in so many ways. Generous gifts and perfect donations in perfect timing have found us every step of the way since the earliest days of Rahab House.

Now, as we are nearing the need for finances we can plan around, we ask that you consider becoming a monthly donor.

Having a record of money we can count on each month will help us know exactly what we can provide for each woman and increase the number or women we serve to the house’s capacity.

We have never outpaced God’s generosity, so we are holding nothing back from the work He has called us to. But, budgets are an important part of providing stability and accountability to survivors and donors alike.

Please prayerfully consider setting up a monthly donation today.
