🌱 Rahab House: Dec 8th and @24

Help us Prepare a Place this December

“For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:38-39

Dear Family,

God is at work in so many ways, and we are overjoyed and humbled to witness some of it in our lives, families, and work.

Please continue to lift us up in prayer—Rahab House, our board, their families, and all those who faithfully support the work God has entrusted to us.

Blessings and Joy,

Save The Date: Dec 8th

“In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself, that where I am, you may be also.” —John 14: 2-3

Rahab House is hosting a year-end event in Brentwood, TN, on December 8th at Grace Community Church.

Our theme, "Prepare a Place," reflects our 2025 goal of opening a refuge home to provide a smart, safe, and Spirit-centered space for survivors. This theme is grounded in the promise of John 14, as we work to create a place of healing and hope.

We need your help to make this event possible. Whether you can volunteer, donate, or assist in organizing, your participation is vital in ensuring the event’s success. Please save the date, and consider joining us in this joyful labor as we take another step toward answering the call to serve.

@ 24 Church in Pleasant View, TN

Last week, Rahab House board member and survivor leader Lori Medley shared her story with the congregation at 24 Church in Pleasant View, TN.

Lori spoke with honesty, humor, and boldness, even as she recounted the painful experiences of her past. Though redeemed by King Jesus today, her story offers a glimpse into the dark, pervasive, and insidious nature of human trafficking—right here in our country, state, city, and neighborhoods.

Check out the video above to hear more about the story God is telling through Lori’s life today, and please say a prayer for the many children of God still waiting to be freed from captivity.

Update on Land

The board is still hard at work looking for a home for Rahab House.

One of our advisors and friends, Rodney Hammer, tells a story of starting REHOPE in Kansas after he and his wife urged a survivor to exit trafficking and she said “Am I going to sleep at your house tonight?”

This highlights a crucial truth: providing a safe place to land isn’t just kind—it’s essential for survivors to have a real chance of staying out of the cycle that has become “normal” to them.

We are grateful for the many people working alongside us to help Rahab House put down roots and establish a refuge for the long journey of loving people out of captivity and into their true identity in Christ.

Please pray, consider coming to the Prepare a Place event, or hit reply and tell us of any pieces of land or existing homes that could support the next phase of Rahab House’s mission to see the Kingdom brought close to chase away the shadow of human trafficking.
