Dear Family,

The Rahab House team has been working, meeting, planning, and learning a lot in the last few months. Thanks to blessed partnerships and “chance” meetings, pieces are falling into place in ways we cannot take credit for. Since you are reading this email, you are one of the people we thank God for. Your support invites us to faithfully place one foot in front of the other, knowing it is not us, but our Father who will see the work finished.

Update on Land

Bon Aqua

God’s calling to provide Rescue, Refuge, and Restoration for Survivors of human trafficking means we need space that is safe and set apart.

A 100+ acre piece of land in Bon Aqua, Tennessee has come to our attention, and the board is seriously investigating it.

Pray with us that God’s direction is clear and we navigate the financial and timing elements with wisdom.

The land comes with an existing move-in-ready 3-bedroom home and is adjacent to a ministry specializing in regenerative gardening, equine therapy, and music therapy. The people there are ready to support survivors and have already partnered with us in prayer for Rahab House and the people God will entrust to its care.

Update on Board Unity, Education, and Equipping

• We meet with our mentor, Rodney, each month and move the administrative needle forward. Our board meetings are becoming more effective as we get to know one another better, and our individual gifts become more apparent. Ultimately, we are blessed with partners and a board of people willing to say yes to Jesus and one another to see this work done.

• We have entered a partnership with an accounting firm to handle bookkeeping, accounting, and year-end audits. The precision they bring to these processes will keep everything transparent and legal. Since they handle each level of our accounting needs, and are specifically non-profit trained, our financial reporting will be streamlined and orderly.

Update on Provision

God has been generous with us. Through direct provision and by moving in the hearts of people ready to see His Kingdom come, the Father has met and exceeded our needs so far. We trust and expect Him to continue providing our daily bread as we continue offering only our “yes” to Him.

Recently, our board president traveled to two fundraisers and received astonishing financial gifts from those who heard the story of all God is doing at Rahab House.

• While all the stories of generosity move us, one particularly needs sharing. A high school student invited Rahab House to a fundraiser at his high school. The school allows students to host one fundraiser each before graduation. Whereas the intention is for the student to collect money for college tuition or post-graduation needs, our friend was prompted by the Spirit to participate in anti-trafficking. A few weeks later, his brother told him about Rahab House, and the rest is history.
